Cloth diapers are gentle on baby:
· Our cloth diapers are 100% cotton, free of chemicals and additives found in disposable diapers (such as dioxins, tributyl-tin, and sodium polyacrylate) which can cause skin irritation.
· Cloth diapers breathe, allowing air to circulate to baby’s skin; this usually means less diaper rash!
With our service, they are convenient for you:
· No running to the store! Diapers arrive at your home each week.
· Modern cloth diapers are easy to use. These are not like the diapers of the past; no pins or rubber pants are needed! We take care of all the washing.
· On average, a family using cloth diapers will spend the same as a family using disposables.
· Cloth diapering families will save money over time because children potty train more quickly than children wearing disposables. Typically, cloth diapered babies toilet train in 24-30 months because, unlike disposables, the baby feels the wet sensation of their diaper.
We keep it Earth friendly:
· Disposable diapers represent an enormous contribution of waste to our landfills; they can represent 50% of the total waste of a family using them for one child.
· It is estimated disposable diapers take 500 years to decompose.
· The manufacture and use of cloth diapers uses much less water and less energy.
· Our use of solar thermal energy at our HLAC accredited laundry facility keeps our carbon footprint very small. Between washing and delivering is smaller even than washing them at home!
